Sabbatical - Day One

So, here I am in Virginia Beach on the first day of my sabbatical. It's just after 7am and the weather looks great outside (sunny, clear skies, birds singing). Beyond planning to "go home and hang out with my kids and my mom", I haven't really planned too much. If you know me, that's pretty opposite of how I like to get most things done. I usually like to plan most things so I can figure out contingency upon contingency in case things go wrong. But I'm sure most computer programmers do that. Ok, off to test out posting photos from my phone to the blog.
